EXPLAIN IT WORD FOR WORD ON HOW TO SOLVE IT

The bar graph shows the numbers of reserved campsites at a campground for one week. What percent of the reservations were for Friday or Saturday? Write the percent as a mixed number in simplest form.

Add up all the reservations for the whole week:-

= 5+3+4+7+26+30+9  = 84

Number for Friday , Saturday = 26+30 = 56

so percentage for these 2 days = (56*100) / 84  =  14 * 100 / 21 = 2/3 * 100
= 66 2/3 % answer
