the answer is 2x+1.... i was trying to figure out how to turn it into a parabola, but couldn't figure it out. the only possible solution that I could find was y=2x+1 or in your case g(x)=2x+1. hope this helps... I spent over an hour double checking my work to make sure that my answer was the only possibility.
