In
the beginning of chapter 10 in the book “To Kill a Mockingbird”, Miss Maudie talks about how
it’s allowed to shoot bluejays but not mocking birds. To kill such bird is
considered a sin, since they are actually harmless creatures and bring good music
for people to listen.
