What are the coordinates of the centroid of a triangle with vertices A(−3, 1) , B(1, 6) , and C(5, 2)?

We know that to find the centroid of a triangle the formula is ( x1 + x2+x3/ 3, y1 + y2 + y3/ 3). Thus we have that the centroid of A, B, and C is ( (-3+ 1 + 5)/ 3, (1 + 6 + 2)/3) = ( 1, 3) . Answer : (1,3)
