Chi Wara masks are wooden masks made by Bamana artists of Africa. Chi Wara masks represent antelopes, and are used as ritual objects during initiation, dances and other rituals. These Chi Wars rituals are used to teach young Bamana men about social norms and agricultural practices.

Artists used the forms of an antelope to create masks used in farming celebrations.
