Within a peripheral nerve, the layer of connective tissue that
surrounds a fascicle is called the Perineurium. The individual nerve fibres in a peripheral nerve are organized
by connective tissue that consists of three distinct components – the endoneurium,
the perineurium, and the epineurium.
