In which of these sentences is the pronoun used incorrectly?
Jack, Greg, Josh, and me caught the 7:40 train into the city.
Jack and I were headed to a Cubs game.
Jack likes baseball as much as I.
Greg and he went to a White Sox game yesterday.

Respuesta :

The one I don't like is the following one:

Jack likes baseball as much as I.

I would say either: as much as me

or

as much as I am

but not "as much as i"

("as much as" requires either accusative or a phrase following it)
