The Magna Carta, which means "The Great Charter", is a very important document in the world.

It was a charter of English liberties granted by King John of England on June 15th, 1215.

It provided the foundation for individual rights and is a defense against arbitrary and tyrannical rulers.

It declared that all free men had the right to justice and a fair trial. It implied that even the king himself had to follow the law.

Besides, it claimed that nobody will be deprived of their rights or have to pay for their rights.

The two crucial concepts discovered in the Magna Carta are the rule of law and the trial by jury. However, there is one more main concept despite those two, that is parliament/advisors.
