How will the movement of water affect a cell if it is transferred from a hypotonic solution to a hypertonic solution?

The cell will shrink because a hypotonic solution has a greater concentration of water inside the cell than it does outside. So, when the water moves out of the cell like in a hypertonic solution, the water will move out of the cell, shrinking it.
