According to study as of 2016, there are seventeen (17) states that regulate medical marijuana dispensaries that are currently open in the United States. These seventeen states have at least one medical marijuana dispensary that varying the product laws. But there twenty-three (23) who regulates some form of medical cannabis sales despite federal laws. As for recreational dispensaries, today there were five states that currently regulate recreational sellers, these are the stores where any adult with the age of 21 and above can enter and purchase cannabis.
