This is an example of automatic processing.
Automatic processing does not require us to pay attention to what we are doing nor do
we have to deliberately put in effort to control this processes. If we
practice something long enough, it becomes automatic. Typing on a keypad, driving a car, playing an instrument are all examples of automatic processing.
