As the War wrapped up and the relevant parties began to negotiate a peaceful settlement, no Native American tribe was invited to participate, despite large participation and, in many cases, few or no major defeats by these tribes. Britain basically bailed on its many Native American allies, and there was no mention of them in the Treaty of Paris. The result was the steady invasion of their land by the newly independent United States over the years that followed.
