Emperor Justinian was known for his Judicial reforms. He revised all the roman law. The Justinians literature is known as Corpus Juris Civilis. It was planned into three parts; Codex, Digesta, and Institutiones. They were enacted from 529 to 534. They were declared as the sole source of law and reference to its sources were strictly forbidden. Later he enacted further laws, which came to be known as Corpus, The Novellae Constitutions.
