Yeah it does. Just up the equation. 7/9=42/54 and cross multiply so 7x54=378 and 9x42=378.
Another way I did it was that I divided 9/7 to get 1.2857. I tried the same to 54/42 and I got the same answer. I then used 1.2857 to multiply that by 7 and it ended up giving me 9 and I used that to multiply it by 42 as well to get 54.
