The Middle Kingdom accomplished many things, including the explosion of the Hyksos, an invading group of foreigners, military campaigns to Kush, Nubia, and Libya, the elevation of Hatshepsut to the King of Egypt, the expansion of the Karnak Temple, and the regal 67 year reign of Ramses II.
