Fermentation
tubes, also known as, Durham tubes; are used
in microbiology to distinguish the production of the gas by microorganisms.
They are smaller test tubes implanted
upside down in alternative test tube. This small tube is primarily occupied with the solution in which the
microorganism is to be developed.
