The loss of the Battle of Trafalgar resulted in Great Britain ruling the seas for over 100 years.

I believe the correct answer is that from that point onward, Napoleon and his forces no longer attempted to invade Britain. The battle ended in a clear victory for the British, and both Napoleon and the British were left only able to perform indirect attacks against either side.
