y = a(x - h)^2 + k

No answer choices have a number in front of the x so a is 1.

Also we know b is already out because if there was a negative in front of the x, the graph would be facing down.

anyways (h ,k) is the vertex and we know the vertex is (3,1) so let's plug in and solve.

y = a(x - h)^2 + k
y = 1(x - 3)^2 + 1
y= (x-3)(x-3) + 1
y = x^2 -6x + 9 + 1
y = x^2 - 6x + 10

This means the answer is A.
