The acid which dissociates completely into H+ ions in water will have the lowest pH value , while the base dissociates completely into OH- ions in water will have the highest pH value. Strongest acids has pH of 1 while strongest base has ph of 14. (0 - 6.99 are acids.)

On the basis of the pH scale, strong bases are mostly contained at the end (13-14) and strong acids have been found at the starting (0–1).

What is pH scale?

It is a kind of scale which would be used to measure the strength of acidity as well as basicity. pH scale ranges in value between 1 to 14. On the metric scale, a 7 indicates that the outcome appears neutral.

What is a strong acid?

"An acid  would be considered as the substance that ionizes completely whenever dissolved in a particular solution. "It  will release a higher concentration of H+ ions. For example, hydrochloric acid.

What is a strong base?

A substance that ionizes completely in solution to give OH- ions will be referred as strong base. For example, sodium hydroxide.
