A strong Acid would dissociate completely into its various ions, for instance, HCl + H2O ——> H3O+ + Cl-
A weak acid does not completely dissociate. It instead finds an equilibrium between its reactants and products. For a weak acid we would use 2 yield arrows pointing in the opposite direction.
So, if you wanted to get the most ions in solution, you would use a strong Acid, since it completely dissociates.
