What is larger, 5/8 or 7/15's?

5/8 is larger and that is because which ever has the lowest denominator it will be bigger because the pieces will be bigger than 7/15. If you have 7/15 the pieces will be very small.

Well, you can do this two ways: One, draw up a pie chart (which I don't like to do)

or Two: Compare the decimals  (To me, this is easier)

So, to find out the decimals, just divide the numerator by the denominator. Then see what you have.
