How is the process of rewriting literal equations similar to the process of solving equations in one variable?How is it different?

Respuesta :

A literal equation is, simply put, an equation that has a lot of letters or variables.
example :
A = bh
Lets solve it for b.
A = bh
A/h = bh / h
A/h = b

Now lets say we have equation in one variable like 10 = 5x
we can find x simply by,  x = 10 / 5 = 2

The way of solving it similar. The difference is literal equation have more variables, you solve for certain variable in terms of another variables while in one variable you get the direct number.
