The least common multiple (LCM) of 2 and 12 is: 12

2 × 6 = 12
12 × 1 = 12

Another way to find the LCM:
Find the greatest common divisor (GCD) of 12 and 2, which is 2.
Multiply 2 × 12 to get 24.
Divide 24 with 2 to get 12 which is the LCM.
