So what I did was take 5 and 4 and then add them which would be 9, after that take 1/4 and make 9 one/forth. So it would look like 1/4+ 1/4+ 1/4+ 1/4+ 1/4 + 1/4+ 1/4+ 1/4+ 1/4= 2.25
