An enslaved person in Maryland would most likely have the job title of B. a field worker.
Most slaves in America were tasked with field work. Usually, this meant that they had to pick cotton, tobacco, and other crops such as corn. If they had jobs as artisans, dock hands, and household servants, those would be much better jobs which were usually done by white people rather than slaves.
