How did black women view the fact that white women view the fight against slavery and the fight for women's rights as separate issues?

They felt like they in fact weren't separate issues. That the fight against slavery and the fight for womens equality are the same thing, because either way it'd be freedom for them. They probably resented the fact the white women were being so arrogant.
