When profit is divided, banks distribute the amount among its shareholders on priority, then the settled amount with companies are given to them from where the banks buy products to facilitate its customers and finally after dividing the profit the remaining amount becomes the part of the economy of country.
Banks are simply similar to other industries. The difference between other businesses and a bank is , the bank product is money. Banks sell money in the shape of deposit certificates, lending money and financial products. They earn money on the interest they impose on advances because that percentage is higher than the interest they return on depositors' accounts.
