Please explain how to find the simplest form of 7/28! I did it in 5th grade but forgot! Explain please.

Respuesta :

TSO
[tex]\sf \frac{7}{28} = \frac{7 \times 1}{7\times 4}\\ We~can~divide~by~7~on~both~the~numerator~and~denominator\\\frac{7\times 1\div 7}{7\times 4\div 7} = \frac{1}{4}[/tex]

So in simplest form it would be 1/4
First of all, find the GCF. (Greatest common factor.)

Which is 7. Meaning that 7 is the only number that can go into 7 itself and 28.

Now divide both the numerator and denominator (top and bottom number) by 7.

[tex] \sf \dfrac{7 \div 7}{28 \div 7} = \dfrac{1}{4} [/tex]
