that have articles and prepositions like de, la, du, von along with the rules
of the language of origin. If you know that a prefix is normally part of the
surname (e.g., De Vries), treat the prefix as part of the last name and
alphabetize by means of the prefix (e.g., DeBase precedes De Vries).
