The concept of solitude portrayed in both Society and Solitude and Chapter I of Nature by Solitude is viewed as a source of strength. Whenever a person falls, he gets so much pain but after the fall when he gets up by himself.
He has the courage which cannot be diminished by anyone. Hence, solitude is a state of being alone, which relates that when a person is alone he has more power and he can do anything which he wants. Therefore, it is viewed as a source of strength.
