Do you think the Electoral College should still exist today, or should presidents be elected by popular vote? Why or Why Not? 30 POINTS!!

I think that the Electoral College shoudl still exist today because the founding fathers enshrined it in the US Constitution because they thought it was the best method to choose the president. They  ensure that all parts of the country are involoved, and they guarantee certaiity to the outcome of the presidential election.

I believe that the electoral college should still exist today because If we let the popular vote decide who becomes president then our country wouldn't be run as officially because we as voters are extremely biased as it is. The electoral college kind of helps because it helps by assuring us that if if a bad president like Richard Nixon ever gets elected it's on them not us. This is my best answer, hope this helps. :)
