If you are new at school ,you need to keep a low profile at least, for the first weeks to avoid any kind of trouble. Try to blend in and not get anyone's attention. Choose one person from your class (someone you think is low profile) and approach him/her to start building some connections. Little by little you should be able to be a “regular students” without anyone notice you are the new one
