Guillermo del toro records observations and thoughts and draws various things such as mythology in pan's labyrinth. The film might be the one richest allusions to classical mythology with characters such as the Pale man who is a mix of Homer´s Cyclops and a Goya´s description of Saturn and Ofelia who has an Herculean task to fulfill.
