first, we know that if we want to have the maximum # of baskets, there can only be up to 26 because we cannot split lotion bottles in half. but then we still have 39 soap bars which we know is bigger than 26 so we can put one in each basket but then we still have extras and to figure that out we do 39-26 which is 13 so if we can split up the soap bars we could put one halve in each basket and have no extras and our basket would have a bottle of lotion, and 1 1/2 soap bars but if we cannot halve them we will have 26 baskets with one bottle of lotion and one soap bar
