The features that might affect how leaves process and
perform rate of photosynthesis is determined by its surface area, chlorophyll
and stomata.
The surface area of the leaf influences its performance to
photosynthesis through the amount of light captured by it which is needed for
photosynthesis to occur. As well chlorophyll which enables the leaf to absorb
light and be processed. Lastly, stomata which is responsible for carbon dioxide
and gas exchange.
