Felt anger, towards the kaiser because they blame him for losing WWI that is also how Hitler arose to power.

Although there were many different feelings that went through the minds of German people, some of them were particularly prominent and helped shape the narrative of how Germany lost the war.

Many German people believed that they deserved to win the war. They were angry about the fact that they lost. Moreover, this anger was directed towards those who were not considered "German," including other Europeans and minorities living in German territory. Finally, Germans felt that the reparations that were placed on them by the Allies were too harsh, and that they were designed to lead Germany to ruin. All of these factors were significant in the rise of the Nazi Party.
