Why do strong emotions trigger the formation of strong memories and weak emotional experiences form weak memories?

Because Strong emotional experiences can trigger the release of neurotransmitters and hormones that strengthen memory.
This will make people have the tendency to remember those experiences as a instinctive response in order to handle the experience better in case that we have to face those kind f experiences again in the future.
