Atahualpa was the last ruler of the Incan empire and was killed by the Spanish in 1533.   Best known for the rooms of Gold and silver as his ransom for the Spanish, though they still killed him.   He has been a source of great debates.  He waged a bloody civil war against his brother and had him murdered to ensure the throne staid his.
