Can a cube with a volume of 4 cubic feet fit in a bookshelf that is 12 inches tall?

If the cube has a volume of 4 cubic feet, the dimensions are the cube root of 4 feet, which is about 1.587 feet. In inches, it is about 19, so it wont fit.
