If 'a' > 1, Then graph is vertically stretched by factor of 'a'

If 'a' < 1, Then graph is vertically compressed by a factor of 'a'

If 'b' > 1, Then graph is horizontally stretched by factor of 'b'

If 'b' < 1, Then graph is horizontally compressed by a factor of 'b'

For this example:

a = 1     ----> no vertical tranformation

b = 5    ----> horizontal stretch
