Use the graph of the function y = (x + 3)(x − 2) to find the solutions of the quadratic equation 0 = (x + 3)(x − 2).

we have the equation: (x+3)(x-2) = 0

For a product to be zero, one of the two operands needs to be a zero.
This means that either x+3 = zero or x-2 = zero

For: x+3 = zero ...................> x = -3
For: x-2 = zero ..................> x = 2

So, the two points on the graph that has a y = 0 are (-3 , 0) and (2 , 0)
