Advanced by thinkers like John Stuart Mill and others, Utilitarianism is the philosophical principle that decisions should be guided by the goal of creating the greatest amount of good for the greatest amount of people. The problem with this philosophy is, firstly, that "good" is a matter of opinion. Secondly, creating a greater amount of good for a majority of people does exclude the minority, and just because people are in the minority doesn't mean they don't also deserve good. 

For that reason, it seems like "all of the above" is the best choice is "all of the above."
