Studying crime is important part of trying to stop it because as we were able to understand it and to know more about it, we may be able to know how to prevent these from happening or how to lessen it. One example of this is the government. They were able to
know that crimes are still prevalent are still happening in any different
places and one way to reduce it is by having to stop this or put an end to this
is by executing laws in a means of punishment to prevent these from happening.
