The term applied to
powers shared between the state and federal government are known as "Concurrent power".
Concurrent powers in countries with a federal government refer to such powers
that are shared by both the government and every constituent political unit,
for example, a state or province. These include collecting taxes, Setting up court systems, Charter banks etc.
