The sum of two numbers is 3030. the first number is one half 1 2 of the second number. what are the numbers?

im guess that says the first # is half the second #

Since one # is 2 times the other, if we make the smaller number x and the bigger # 2x, the sum of them is 3x. So...
3030=3x
1010=x
so one number is 1010 and the other is 2020
