There are 20 questions in a mathematics competition. 5 marks are awarded for each correct answer, while 1 mark and 3 marks are deducted for each blank answer and wrong answer respectively. If Roger has given 10 correct answers and 6 wrong answers,
(a). How many questions does he leave blank?
(b). How many marks can he get?
for b) he has 10 correct answers so he gets 50 points but as he has 6 wrong answers, he gets deducted 18 points (6*3) and he also gets deducted by 4 marks as he left 4 questions blank(4*1) so 50-18-4=28
