All of these acts increased taxation on the colonies, and did so without the permission or discussion from the collonies, so were one-sides.

The Thirteen American Colonies opposed the Sugar Act, Stamp Act, and Tea Act because they considered it as taxation without representation. The parliaments didn't give ask for their concern before declaring the act.
