A direct result of the Four Modernization introduced in China by Deng Xiaoping were that (3) Economic opportunities were expanded. This was because China started exporting their products to a larger scale and stressed more on an economy of self-reliance. Chinese economic development was sped up by foreign investment, a more open market, access to advanced technologies and management experience.
