This is from the story of the Coyote’s Song. When he heard the call of the blue jay, he immediately followed the sound to look for the Blue Jay. The boy said that he will find the Blue Jay and see his blue feathers and he will listen to the Blue Jay’s song. Also, he will go give him bread.
Even though there are many hills to climb, he still followed the Blue Jay’s call. But he then soon ran into Coyote who was out looking for lunch. When the Coyote saw the bread of the boy, he immediately thought of tricking the boy but his original plan failed. The coyote then told the boy that he will help look for the Blue Jay.
