Qualitative is the form of observational research that doesn't provide us statistical data to be interpreted and create deductions. It just provides associations about two certain objects based on the experience of the subject. Quantitative is the research method that gathers information and translates it to statistical data to produce deduction. In our case, we don't have a study that can provide us enough information to know that a stitch in time can save nine. We can just assume it because it establishes a relation between carrying on a stitch in time instead of carrying nine of them out of time to lose our chances.
